Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Atlas Space, operating the It’s ME! mobile application and the services available through heyitisme.com (collectively, the “Service”), collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information.
In this Privacy Policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Atlas Space.
1. Contact information
Privacy contact: info@hangardhub.com
You may contact us using the email address above if you have questions about this Privacy Policy, want to exercise a privacy right, or need help deleting your account.
2. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the Service and which information you choose to add to your digital profile.
2.1 Account and authentication information
When you register, sign in, reset your password, change your password, or manage your account, we may process:
- email address;
- password and password-reset information;
- account identifier;
- authentication token; and
- account creation and update timestamps.
Passwords are used for authentication. Authentication tokens are stored on the device using secure storage where supported.
2.2 Profile and digital business card information
You may choose to provide information for your digital profile, including:
- first and last name;
- personal and work email addresses;
- personal and work telephone numbers;
- job title and company name;
- profile photo and profile background image;
- website, portfolio, and company website links;
- social media and messaging profile links; and
- other information you choose to display on your digital business card.
2.3 Images and device media
If you choose to add or change a profile image, the app may request access to your camera or photo library. We process only the image you select or capture for upload. Images are uploaded to our cloud storage and associated with your account.
2.4 Contacts
The app can help you add digital business card details to your device contacts. If you use this feature, the app requests contact permission and opens the device’s contact insertion interface with the selected profile information.
The app does not need to upload your existing address book to our servers to provide this feature. Contact permission is used to create or insert the contact you request on your device.
2.5 NFC information
If you use the NFC feature, the app accesses your device’s NFC capability to read or write a profile link to a compatible NFC tag or card. The written information is a link associated with the relevant It’s ME! profile. We do not use NFC access to collect unrelated information from your device.
2.6 Information stored locally on your device
To keep you signed in and provide core functionality, the app may store the following on your device:
- authentication token;
- account identifier;
- email address used during a password-reset flow;
- selected image path; and
- app preferences.
Local information is cleared when you sign out or successfully delete your account, subject to operating-system behavior and backups controlled by your device provider.
2.7 Technical and security information
When you use the Service, our servers and infrastructure providers may automatically process limited technical information needed to operate and secure the Service, such as:
- IP address;
- request date and time;
- device, operating-system, and app-version information;
- server and security logs;
- error and diagnostic information; and
- network request metadata.
We use this information to deliver the Service, prevent abuse, maintain security, diagnose failures, and protect users and our systems.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- create and manage your account;
- authenticate you and maintain your session;
- provide password-reset and password-change functions;
- create, display, and update your digital profile;
- host and deliver profile images;
- generate and share profile links, QR codes, NFC links, and contact cards;
- let you add a profile to your device contacts;
- respond to support and privacy requests;
- maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Service reliability;
- detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents;
- comply with applicable laws and enforce our legal rights; and
- process account deletion requests.
We do not use your contacts permission to collect or upload your entire address book.
4. Public profile information and information you share
It’s ME! is a digital business card service. Information you add to your profile is intended to be shared with people who receive or access your profile link, QR code, NFC card, or contact card.
Depending on your profile settings and how you distribute your link, profile information such as your name, contact details, company, title, image, websites, and social links may be visible to other people without requiring them to sign in.
You should add only information that you are comfortable sharing. If you share a profile link publicly, recipients may save, copy, forward, or otherwise use the information outside our control.
5. Permissions and your choices
The app may request the following permissions only when relevant to a feature:
- Internet: to communicate with the Service;
- Camera: to capture a profile image you request;
- Photos or media: to select a profile image you request;
- Contacts: to add a selected digital business card to your device contacts; and
- NFC: to read from or write a profile link to a compatible NFC card or tag.
You can deny or revoke device permissions in your operating-system settings. Some features may not work without the relevant permission.
7. Sale of personal information and advertising
We do not sell personal information. The current version of the app does not include third-party advertising or advertising SDKs, and we do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If our practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notice or choices required by law.
8. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information on one or more of the following grounds:
- Performance of a contract: to create your account and provide the features you request;
- Consent: when you choose to provide optional profile information, grant device permission, or select an image;
- Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; and
- Legal obligation: when processing is required to comply with applicable law.
You may withdraw consent for optional processing at any time, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
9. Data retention
We retain account and profile information while your account is active and for only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
When you successfully delete your account, we delete or de-identify account information and profile content from active systems, except where limited retention is necessary for:
- security, fraud prevention, and abuse investigations;
- compliance with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations;
- resolving disputes and enforcing agreements; or
- temporary backup and disaster-recovery processes.
Residual copies may remain in protected backups for a limited period and are deleted or overwritten according to our backup cycle. Technical security logs may be retained for a limited period where necessary to protect the Service and comply with law.
Temporary contact-card files created on your device for sharing are subject to the device operating system’s temporary-file management and the policies of the sharing destination you select.
10. Account and data deletion
You can request deletion directly in the app:
- Sign in to the It’s ME! app.
- Open Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion request.
After a successful request, the app signs you out and clears locally stored account data. Account deletion is intended to be irreversible.
If you cannot access the app, you may request deletion by emailing info@hangardhub.com from the email address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.
Copies of profile information previously saved or shared by other people—for example, in their contacts, messages, screenshots, or third-party services—are outside our control and may remain after your account is deleted.
11. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encrypted network connections and secure device storage for authentication tokens where supported.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
12. International data transfers
Our service providers and systems may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers and process information in accordance with applicable data-protection law.
13. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- request access to personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion of your information;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent;
- receive a portable copy of certain information; and
- lodge a complaint with an applicable data-protection authority.
To exercise a right, email info@hangardhub.com. We may request information necessary to verify your identity and account ownership. Some rights may be limited where an exception applies under law.
14. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age required to consent to data processing in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us at info@hangardhub.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
15. Third-party links and services
Profiles may contain links to websites, social networks, messaging services, portfolios, or other third-party services. The app may also allow you to share content using third-party apps installed on your device.
We do not control these third parties. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Review those policies before providing information to them.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Service, our practices, or applicable law. We will update the Last updated date at the top of this page and provide additional notice where required.
Material changes apply from the effective date stated in the updated policy.
